At MAYUMBRA, our puppies are raised right in the heart of our home, surrounded by everyday family life, calm structure and constant, thoughtful handling. Every litter is carefully and intentionally planned, with parents selected for their health, soundness, working ability and truly exceptional temperaments. All of our breeding dogs are hip and elbow scored, DNA profiled and temperament tested, because producing strong, stable German Shepherd Dogs who genuinely represent the breed matters deeply to us.

From just days old, our puppies begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and structured enrichment through the Puppy Culture program. These early foundations shape confident, resilient, thoughtful puppies who are able to process the world around them and step comfortably into family life, sport or community roles. As they grow, our babies are exposed to a wide variety of sounds, textures, movement, people and environments. They learn to problem solve, begin working on recalls, start early crate exposure, experience grooming and handling in a positive way, and are supported through each stage of development so they mature into secure, well rounded young dogs.

Throughout their time with us, every puppy is continually assessed to ensure the best possible match between puppy and home. This includes both our day-to-day observations, allowing us to place puppies thoughtfully and responsibly. They are raised using hands-on puppy rearing practices and receive veterinary care, including health checks and a Health Passport. All puppies are microchipped, vaccinated, regularly wormed and swabbed to screen for hereditary conditions and other testable traits, with socialisation and early training tailored to their individual developmental stage.

When your puppy is ready to leave for their new home, our support does not stop. We provide ongoing guidance for the lifetime of your dog, along with ANKC registration and a full generational pedigree. Puppies go home with four weeks of free pet insurance, puppy raising and training resources including support for continuing Puppy Culture at home, and premium quality food to assist with a smooth transition. They also take a familiar starter pack with toys, treats, bedding and other goodies to help them settle confidently into their new homes.
