Ten weeks and second vaccinations
Ten weeks often brings another milestone, second vaccinations and more socialisation.
By this stage most of the puppies have settled into their new homes, adjusting to new routines, new people and all the strange things that come with leaving their littermates.
Back here things have also begun to shift.
The house is quieter. The chaos has dialled down slightly. The remaining puppies start to experience a different kind of routine as they transition away from the litter environment and into more individual time.
Second vaccinations are part of preparing them for the wider world.
Very soon they will be ready to explore even more of it.
Trips out. New environments. The beginning of proper training and the foundations that will shape the dogs they eventually become.
For now though, they are still puppies.
Still discovering everything with enthusiasm and absolutely no concern for how much trouble they might be causing in the process.
