Eleven weeks how time has flown
Eleven weeks always feels like the calm after the storm.
For weeks the house has revolved around a litter. Feeding, cleaning, socialising, monitoring and making sure every puppy is thriving.
And then suddenly there are only one or two left.
You find yourself looking back through photos wondering how those tiny newborn puppies became confident little dogs so quickly.
It is a reminder of just how fast these early weeks pass.
One minute they are barely able to walk.
The next they are charging around the yard like they own the place.
Raising a litter is exhausting, chaotic and incredibly rewarding all at the same time. And by eleven weeks you start to realise that the chapter is almost over.
